About
**About me and my blog**
Hi, I’m Blaine, currently in my third year of studying marketing at the University of Strathclyde (hence the start of this blog).
Outside of university life, I’m passionate about sports, which play a big role in my life. Some of my favourite activities include Football, Golf, Tennis, Padel, and Muay Thai—each offering its own unique challenges and rewards. Sports have always been a way for me to stay active, push myself, and constantly improve both physically and mentally.
Welcome to my blog The Sideline Scoop, where I’ll be taking you along on my journey as I dive deeper into the sports I enjoy. Through each post, I’ll provide a written analysis of my personal experience with these sports, breaking down everything from the warm-up to the final moments of each session. You’ll get an inside look at what it’s like for me as I train, including the ups, the challenges, and how I handle different situations.
At the end of each session, I’ll share reflections on how I’ve progressed, what I’ve learned, and where I still need to improve. I’m setting myself the goal of reaching a competitive level, so I’ll be outlining actionable steps I can take to keep pushing my limits. Whether it’s working on my golf swing or fine-tuning my tennis serve, this blog will track my growth and provide honest insights into the process.

Love this. Can’t wait to read the next one.
